In line with Government guidance we have now closed our showroom to visitors however you can still visit us at https://www.clearwaydoorsandwindows.co.uk/showroom/ and walk around our virtual showroom. We have now launched Contactless Quotes so that we can observe Social Distancing whilst still offering you our usual service. We are offering two choices:
- Send us external photos of your property along with sizes of windows and doors measured between the plaster lines on the inside (please call for full instructions). We will then be able to send you an indicative quote.
- We can visit your property and view it from outside only, as long as we can have access to all elevations. If you need to open a gate so that we can access the rear of your property this can be done in advance of our visit.

If you need to discuss anything in more detail or require a quotation on secondary glazing or a conservatory or roof lantern please give us a call. We will still carry out standard visits to properties if required but with enhanced hygiene precaution such as wearing gloves and spending as little time in your home as we can. Our showroom remains open (please see our separate post for details).
During these uncertain times we are doing all that we can to look after our customers and staff to keep them safe and healthy.
We have now moved to Cheltenham to join our sister company Clearway Doors & Windows at their expanded manufacturing facility in Mackenzie Way. Designex cabinet production will be situated in Unit 6 and our cabinets will be on display at Clearway's showroom opposite at 3 Manor Park Business Centre.
Our cabinets will still be hand made to order or you can buy one of our stock designs. Improved admin and sales support will help to make the whole process of purchasing our display cabinets even better along with a more direct delivery service. Cheltenham is well placed for access to major road networks and a new packaging and loading system will ensure that your cabinet arrives on time and in perfect condition.
Visitors to the showroom will be able to browse in a relaxed environment and can also see cabinets in production. We're looking forward to welcoming customers old and new and will be pleased to have a chat about your requirements over a cup of coffee.
FURTHER EXPANSION FOR CLEARWAY DOORS & WINDOWS
One of Gloucestershire’s most successful door and window companies has doubled its manufacturing facility in Cheltenham, to meet growing demand for its products.
Cheltenham-based Clearway, which celebrates its thirty seventh anniversary this year, fabricates and installs a range of aluminium doors, sash and casement windows, secondary glazing, patio, French and bi-fold doors as well as roof lights and lanterns.
Established in 1983, Clearway Doors and Windows initially focussed on manufacturing and installing their products in the commercial sector. In 2013 the domestic sector represented just five percent of the company’s turnover - seven years later it stands at over 40% - and sales continue to increase in both market areas.
To meet growing demand, Clearway has acquired the lease of a unit adjacent to its existing factory at MacKenzie Way, and increased its manufacturing capacity to 958sq m (10,314 sq ft). The additional space will also enable the eventual relocation of its sister company Designex Cabinets, which offers a range of bespoke display solutions for museums, showrooms, shops and specialist collectors. Clearway’s Managing Director Jeremy Phillips, commented: “The company has grown considerably over the past six years from a staff of 19 to over 30. “Expansion has been necessary to cope with increased demand. For the future, we will continue to invest in staff, customer satisfaction and product development.”
All Clearway’s products offer high levels of safety and security, as well as adding style and helping to reduce energy bills throughout the home and workplace.
We can now reveal the full details of Clearway’s 7th Open Weekend. It will take place on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th of January. Opening times are 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday and 10am to 1pm on Sunday. Factory tours will be available on Friday only until 4pm.
Savings of up to 10% can be made on all enquiries made over the weekend and you can view the whole Clearway range as well as get details of some exciting new arrivals scheduled for the Spring. Staff will be on hand to offer expert advice and if you arrive early there is a free gift for all visitors.
