Clearway Doors and Windows accreditations
Clearway Doors and Windows belong to the following double glazing accreditation schemes:
Clearway is a member of the Glass and Glazing Federation. This body sets high industry standards for technical competency and health and safety standards. As a GGF member, we must meet a range of criteria for service, quality, workmanship and value for money. Our financial status is checked yearly and we provide payment and deposit protection.
GGFi: Insurance Backed Guarantee
All our installations and products are covered by an Insurance Backed Guarantee provided by the Glass and Glazing Federation. This protects your deposit before work begins on an installation project and guarantees the quality of Clearway’s products and services for up to 10 years after the installation.
The Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme ensures that all double glazing installers follow the latest planning rules and regulations. As a FENSA certified installer, our customers are supplied with a certificate after installation to prove that it meets all current Building Regulations, which to ensure that windows and doors are safe and legal.
Clearway windows, doors and conservatories all receive the CE mark, which means that they conform to European quality standards and can be supplied legally across the EU. Read more about CE marking.
All our products carry the BSI Kitemark™ on the glass unit and the frame. The British Standards Institution independently tests our products to verify that they meet legal standards for quality and security.
Clearway is certified under this government scheme as a pre-qualified supplier for any construction job, making the tender process more efficient for architects, specifiers, project leaders and home renovators looking for a supplier and installer of architectural aluminium products.
Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS)
As a part of CHAS, Clearway is assessed every year to make sure we meet adequate health and safety standards for construction on site. CHAS ensures that we have an up-to-date written health and safety policy and we carry out full risk assessments for any work carried out. You can be assured that our installation team will carry out work safely in your home.
Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB)
The CAB is a national body dedicated to the promotion of aluminium materials in construction and the glazing industry. Aluminium is ideal for use in window, door, conservatory and roof frames, and we actively support the CAB in their work.
ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and was derived from the British standard BS 5750. Its designation as an ISO (International Standards Organisation) standard means it is truly international and is based on input from their world-wide network of 159 national standards institutes.
