Do you ever wonder what happens to your old windows when we remove them? Well if they are PVCu we now recycle them. We have partnered with CNC Recycling who collect out redundant frames and give them a new lease of life by recycling them. They may end up as new window reinforcing or might be turned into other plastic products. CNC Recycling processed almost 900,000 old PVCu windows and doors in 2021 (source: CNC Recycling) diverting these from landfill and helping the environment.

Clearway’s Operations Manager Ben Phillips commented: “We decided to trial recycling our old PVCu frames using CNC and the process turned out to be easy and efficient. We are able to do our bit for the environment and help to improve PVCu’s green credentials to go hand in hand with our aluminium products".
