Prestigious award for Clearway & CDW

Clearway Doors & Windows and their sister company CDW Systems have today received an award from their main profile supplier Hydro Building Systems. Having ordered 44 tonnes to date of “Circal” high quality recycled aluminium profiles the Group have saved 378 tonnes of CO2. Group Chairman Jeremy Phillips received the award on behalf of both companies from Allan Barr (Hydro MD) and Mark Graham (UK Customer Services Manager).

Jeremy commented “It is really pleasing that in using Circal aluminium as much as possible we are able to make a contribution towards reducing our carbon footprint. We have been able to work closely with Hydro whose UK HQ is only a few miles away from both CDW & Clearway at Tewkesbury. This reinforces the sustainability credentials of aluminium. We are also looking at more efficient ways that both our factory waste and post consumer waste can be recycled.”
